This is the most recent of all the bridges in Ondarroa. It was designed by the prestigious architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava, which is why it is popularly known as the “Calatrava Bridge”. Built in iron and concrete, this avant-garde bridge was inaugurated in 1995 and is a direct route to the port of Ondarroa.
