It is on the left side of the Lekeitio-Aulesti road, near the Oleta de Amoroto neighbourhood, on the banks of the River Lea. If you visit the place without having previous references to the building, you may be surprised, as it is half in ruins.
It is a very peculiar building, of great volume and large dimensions, built with masonry, and which has two levels. It has a quadrangular base. Its function in terms of the health of the territory (Lekeitio, Amoroto, Gizaburuaga, Ispaster and Mendexa) was very important.
Its current location is far from the river and the road accentuates its separation. It is linked by the Leagi bridge.
