Immerse yourself in the narrow streets of the medieval old town. Admire the palaces and Gothic towers.
The historic quarter has a medieval layout structured around three longitudinal streets (Guen Kalea, Erdiko Kalea and Okerra) and a cross street (Zear Kalea). Inside, buildings have been preserved, most of which maintain their Gothic plot or layout.
Visit the church of Carmen, whose interior with its admirable baroque altarpieces is considered to be one of the best furnished in the whole of Biscay.
Around the walled nucleus, that is, outside the town itself, in the place where the three suburbs emerged, following the three access routes to the town, we can see that the built heritage is of considerable richness and variety.
