The regattas of traineras, are a derivation of old marine activities more concretely of fishing boats. This is the sport of the people of the sea, which is why its scenario is located in the towns of Lekeitio and Ondarroa. Depending on the speciality, the racing season takes place over several months; in spring and summer. (for example, the flag of Ondarroa is on August 1st).
